A painter and illustrator from the Paris street-art scene, JBC was born in 1979. Since 2009, he has pursued an artistic approach geared towards public space, initially through paste-ups, before moving towards his now predominant practice: murals.

JBC’s universe is a symbolic mix combining Latin American baroque art, Soviet realism, the cult of icons, paganism, utopias and, more recently, dystopian science fiction.
His themes resonate with his graphic style reminiscent of stained glass.

His media are varied: walls, street furniture, canvases, paper, objects of all kinds and other installations.

Active on the street art scene since 2009, he joined the Douze Douze urban art collective in 2017, and has been based in the north of the Drôme since 2022.
He takes part in group and solo exhibitions, festivals, and mural commissions, both public and private.
