Onemizer is an urban artist inspired by the urban aesthetics of the 90s.
Onemizer is a French artist born in the South of France who became interested in art through watercolors. He discovered the spray paint can while covering the railroad fences next to his large family home. For Onemizer, it’s the perfect spot. As we stroll around Paris, the metro quickly becomes a source of inspiration. Self-taught, he was strongly influenced by the great figures of Pop Art such as Basquiat and Warhol. In his work, we find many characteristics of the urban aesthetic of the 90s, such as the rounded lettering known as “bubble”, the famous “Hello My Name Is” label the famous “Hello My Name Is” label, comic-book characters from popular culture, the accumulation of figurative elements or words, the different styles of writing found on walls tagged in the streets, etc…
Onemizer is a street artist represented in numerous international galleries.
He now exhibits in numerous international art galleries (Paris, Courchevel, Megève, Cannes, Singapore, Honfleur, London; Amsterdam, Dubai, etc.).
Onemizer develops a wide range of different styles, always combining graffiti, tag and drips.
Onemizer is considered a very free artist. He enjoys working with lettering, revisiting portraits of personalities or objects that have marked history or his own personal story. Over time, he developed a wide range of different styles, always combining graffiti, tagging, “coulures” and, above all, a multitude of colors. He uses a wide range of different techniques: spray paint, stencils, drawings, Posca, brushes, ink, and sometimes even his own hands. He’s constantly renewing his art; he likes to change techniques, change supports… It’s the visual impact and the clash of colors that make each of his canvases more original than the next.
