There’s a wonderful exhibition currently on view at the gallery, where we’re showcasing several paintings by Nextor Otano, fresh from the studio.
Nextor, also known as Nexgraff, is a Spanish Basque urban artist who began his artistic career with graffiti and later moved on to creating large-scale murals through which he explores concepts such as immigration, globalization, and the importance of celebrating our origins and local cultures.His works, imbued with social values and optimism, adorn, challenge, and enrich the urban landscape in Spain, France, and around the world. Nexgraff is already recognized as one of the world’s most talented street artists, with three of his murals ranked among the top 20 in the world by the Street Art Cities platform. Nexgraff paints his massive murals with a brush, without an overhead projector or any other technique, relying solely on his sense of proportion and perspective.
