From 22nd October to 17th November 2018
The resolutely free and modern work of Elizabeth Waggett questions the confusion of today’s society, its obsession with material things, and its arbitrary conception of the notion of value. Using noble materials of the highest quality, the artist appropriates traditional techniques of art to compose delicate images that invite us to reflect on war, religion, beauty and destruction.
Marie-Laure Griffe’s approach stems from her fascination with the immensity and infinity of what surrounds her.
Man, this strange being, is his main subject of observation. The interaction, the permeability between him and the universe, him and the other is an endless questioning.
