Jo Di Bona defines himself first and foremost as a graffiti artist. Steeped in years of graffiti vandalism, it was in 1991 that he created Pop graffiti, a hybrid art form drawing on the roots of graffiti and the codes of popular culture. Before taking shape, his portraits follow a whole creative process combining graffiti, stencil and collage of old magazines.
The Jo Di Bona exhibition will be accompanied by works by Kesa Graffiti, JonOne, C215 and 1seckte.
