Opened in 1852 in Paris, the Hôtel Drouot is the oldest public auction house in the world. This institution has become over time a focal point for contemporary art. Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Dali… the greatest names in the history of art have been sold under the hammers of its auctioneers.

Today, this symbolic place continues its tradition of creativity and dynamism at the center of the international market. For the third time since its opening, Drouot is hosting a fair dedicated to a movement in full mutation and at the center of the questioning and the future of contemporary art: urban art. For this third edition, District 13 – International Art Fair takes over this historic place in the heart of Paris, the Hôtel Drouot. With this new cultural event, Drouot is renewing its tradition as a player in the history of French and international art by supporting the market and the most current practice.
