Marie Laure Griffe & Elizabeth Waggett

Exhibition from October 22 to November 17, 2018

Elizabeth Waggett’s work questions the confusion of today’s society, its obsession with material things and its arbitrary conception of the notion of value. Using the finest materials of the highest quality, the artist appropriates traditional techniques of art to compose delicate images that invite us to reflect on war, religion, beauty and destruction.

Graduated from ENSAAMA, franco-suisse, Marie-laure Griffe has been working for more then twenty years in Paris. Her favourite media is clay. But her passion for modeling drove her to create big pieces into cement : “Les Pierres frites” in 1999 and “La Poupée” de Lagny, Décember 2007
