From October 2 to 5, 2025, SPERA takes up residence at the Beffroi de Montrouge to write a new chapter in urban art in France. This first-ever event transforms the space into a living agora, a crossroads of creative energies where artists, audiences and cultures from all over the world come together. Much more than just a fair, SPERA is a collective, immersive experience, a hybrid event where exhibitions, live performances, workshops, conferences and meetings come together. For four days, the Belfry becomes the beating heart of plural, free and profoundly human urban art.
Over 1,000 m², 40 galleries and more than 180 international artists – major figures and emerging talents – exhibit side by side, in a scenography designed as a laboratory for artistic dialogue. Each work, each presence, each encounter composes a rich, shifting and contrasting landscape of today’s urban aesthetics.the curation of this first edition is based on high standards and diversity: multiple formats, singular narratives, varied origins. From the accessible to the exceptional, each piece invites discovery, reflection and emotion, for a public ranging from passionate collectors to curious neophytes.
In keeping with its open-minded approach, SPERA places great emphasis on art education and creativity for the very young. On the morning of Friday October 3, a special morning is reserved for local schools and associations: with free access, this special time will enable children to talk with artists and gallery owners.
But the experience doesn’t stop there. Throughout the event, a creative space dedicated to children, hosted by POSCA, will enable families to take full advantage of SPERA. Fun workshops, introduction to street art, free exploration: a friendly setting to encourage artistic expression and inspire vocations, in a spirit of transmission and shared celebration.
