Self-taught artist, Franck Cavadore immerses himself in painting in the free figuration, teeming with silhouettes and vital forms – plant or animal. One can detect the wild and complex vocabulary of an art brut which is in particular in line with Alechinsky’s papers and “marginal remarks”. A kaleidoscopic raw art whose patterns and colors also recall the cellular spells of Dubuffet and the syncretic luxuriances of Combas.
